The biggest airplane in the world could now transform itself into the biggest casino of the world if the project by which it is expected to build a large scale casino in the biggest commercial plane in the history of civil flying – known as the Airbus A380 or super-jumbo – is finally approved.

If the project is accepted in the short term, it is estimated that the plane will be ready by 2012 and although it is still unknown exactly what would be the main features that it will have, it is expected that the flying casino will have luxurious gaming rooms in which gamblers could practice the most popular casino games such as Roulette, Blackjack, Poker and Baccarat, among others.

David Velupillai, commercial director of the Airbus business section in Hong Kong said that there are many interested costumers and declared also that: “the main attractive of the A380 is that it offers 50% more room than a Boeing 747 and if they want to build something like a casino, it offers enough space”.

The Airbus A380, whose first model was released in October 2007 to Singapore Airlines, can transport 525 passengers in a typical three classes configuration.
