Playing roulette in the first floating casino of Mexico

Island Casino has become the fist floating casino of Mexico and has been installed in the coast of Veracruz. James J. Monaham is the president of the Fiesta Cruise Line and is an investor that has another five casinos in different parts of the country.

Monaham has declared recently that he is very confident about the clients attending exited to this new leisure place and about gamblers going not only from Mexico but also from the United States as well.

The ship has a size of 90 per 20 meters and has, among other games, 525 slot machines, 12 blackjack tables, 12 craps tables, 2 roulette tables, 10 Poker Hold’em tables and 10 baccarat tables. At the moment, they have 300 people employed, although they have the intention of hiring more personnel and to create between 400 and 500 direct jobs.

The first floating casino of Mexico is expected to star functioning in about ten more days. The only problem is getting the operational permissions that are required, because there is no updated gambling law in Mexico. It appears that the government authorities have nothing against the floating casinos, as long as the operation of land casinos is not authorized.
