She remembers when she was little and she started to relate with the acting environment thanks to her father who took her to the classes: “They were in the basement of a bookstore. I wore disguises, made up stories, I was very happy. In those times, I hated television. Each time I got together with my two cousins, they stood in front of the TV and I would get in a very bad mood”.

Those were also the times when Marcela was an excellent student at school, but not at high school. “I had started to work and I didn’t care about good grades. I liked copying… I had a good time in high school, I was the leader of the group”. And when she is asked if she was one of the nice girls that get gum thrown from behind, she confesses that she was the one throwing them.

With her hair tight up, lose and honest, Marcela knows how to surprise with her poker face. She teases her grandmother Mamama a lot and, with her she spends long hours at the casinos playing different games.

They share their love for gambling: “We go together to the casino and she chooses the slot machines and I go for the roulette. I can spend hours playing there, but I can also spend some time in the card games”, she says that her favorite bets are numbers 5, 12, 19 and 31.
