With the spinning of the first ball in the roulette, Melincué Resort & Casino in Argentina is officially open to gamblers. The community president was in charge of spinning the wheel of fortune and calling “34 Red” when the ball stopped at the new casino, which is located in the southern region of the Santa Fe province.
Melincué Resort & Casino occupies an area of 4.320 square meters and its construction required an estimated investment that exceeded the 40 million Argentinean pesos (approximately 13 million US dollars).
The first gambling room in this Argentinean province includes more than 100 slots, and many gaming tables, including 8 dedicated to roulette, 4 to blackjack, 1 to poker and 15 to bingo. The chips to gamble go from a minimum of 2 Argentinean pesos and 25 cents for slots. Melincué also offers its 40-room hotel, a convention center with 500 seats, tennis courts, a swimming pool, a parking lot for up to 140 vehicles and an exclusive lagoon spot with sailboats and jet skis for visitors.
Entrance to the casino is free and the doors are open from Monday to Thursday from 3 pm to 3 am, Fridays from 3 pm to 5 am, Saturdays from 12 pm to 5 am and Sundays from 12 pm to 3 am.
