50 billion sterling at the roulette

The statistics from a study report recently published by the University of Nottingham Trent show that the British invested last year about 50 billion sterling (almost 90 million dollars) playing roulette and other bets.

Calculating the number of inhabitants of the United Kingdom, including men, women and children, it’s estimated that about 800 sterling were bet per person. The industry of gambling became very important lately because of the decrease of the regulations from the Government in betting issues in Great Britain.

In the United Kingdom there are many places where people can bet. There are about 130 small casinos and thousands of places to bet on horses, dogs, virtual roulette and slots machines.

According to the survey a British magazine took last year for men, young males prefer to plat roulette, casino and online betting instead of going out on a date with a woman or spending their money drinking in a bar or pub.
